A video surfaced showing two police officers from Mexico City's Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) engaging in intimate behavior inside a patrol vehicle. The clip, lasting around two minutes, was widely shared on social media.
The SSC confirmed it has opened an internal investigation led by its General Directorate of Internal Affairs. Both officers have been identified and summoned to provide statements. The department emphasized that such conduct violates institutional protocols and will not be tolerated.
Separately, Officer Isabela Segundo—erroneously identified by some users—publicly denied involvement in the video, citing differences in uniform color and physical appearance. She requested respect for her reputation after being wrongly implicated.
The incident is also under review for potential legal implications under Mexico’s Ley Olimpia, which penalizes the unauthorized recording and dissemination of intimate content. Offenders may face up to six years in prison and monetary fines.
